When you return your bottles and cans for recycling, please take them to Gold-Trail Recycling and Bottle Depot, and donate you cash rebates to the Watch Lake – North Green Lake Fire Dept. We now have an account with Gold-Trail Recycling that allows us to donate the cash proceeds earned from returning empty bottles and cans to our Fire Dept. Just tell the attendant that you want your cash rebate to be donated to the Watch Lake – North Green Lake Fire Dept. The funds will then be used by the Fire Dept. to help offset general operating expenses.
Gold-Trail Recycling and Bottle Depot is located at 720 Sollows Crescent, just off Exeter Road. Their phone number is 250-395-1041 and operating hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday through Friday, and 9:30am – 2:00pm on Saturdays. Gold-Trail also recycles milk jugs, cardboard, newspapers, computer and office paper, paint cans, car batteries, tin cans, and glass.
